Policy
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Our position on modern slavery, human trafficking and ethical practice in our supply chain.
Zero tolerance
EZLAH Distribution Ltd does not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour, child labour or human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chain.
Ethical supply chains
We expect the manufacturers and suppliers we work with to uphold the same standards, to comply with applicable law in the countries in which they operate, and to be able to demonstrate how they do so.
Supplier expectations and due diligence
We assess prospective suppliers before entering into an agreement and take account of their approach to labour standards, worker welfare and ethical practice. Where concerns are identified we will raise them, seek evidence of correction, and end the relationship if they are not addressed.
Worker welfare
We support the fair and lawful treatment of workers throughout our supply chain, including safe working conditions, fair pay and freely chosen employment.
Reporting concerns
Anyone with a concern about modern slavery or labour practices connected to our business can raise it with us directly using the details on our Contact page, or through our Feedback page. Concerns raised in good faith will be taken seriously and treated confidentially.
Continuous improvement
As the company grows we will continue to develop our due diligence, supplier engagement and training in this area.
